As the V&A opening is hot news in Dundee at the moment, one of our projects in second year was to create a double sided A2 broadsheet promoting an exhibition that would be held there. We had to pick a subject or art movement from the 20th century that was considered a classic. I chose to explore 50's and 60's fashion as I felt like those years were a real turning point in fashion, with creations such as the mini skirt, shift dress and leather jacket, to name a few. These are now timeless classics in the world of fashion.
It was our first real introduction to grid systems and layouts as a designer, which were difficult but also rewarding.
